His Story
Moving to Canada for work a year ago was a step into the unknown, and I'll admit I was skeptical. As it turned out, it was the best decision of my life—because it's where I found my forever. I had joined a new congregation to learn Chinese, and that's where I first noticed her. It was like discovering a rare, beautiful flower in a vast garden; from that moment on, she was all I could think about. It took some time to summon the courage to ask her out, and though her initial answer was a gentle 'no,' I'm so incredibly grateful she gave me a chance. This past year has been the happiest chapter of my life, and I can't wait for our forever to begin.
Her Story
I originally moved to Canada to learn more about myself, but I ended up finding my person and discovering a beautiful future I never expected. For two years, I was happily single and entirely focused on my service to Jehovah. Then, completely out of the blue, he asked me out! Panicked and caught off guard, my immediate reaction was to say no. But after a lot of prayer, reflection, and deep thought, I felt moved to invite him out for coffee instead. While our beginning had its clumsy moments, the closer we became, the more clearly I could see Jehovah's hand guiding us together.
